Demantoids are various shades of green and dark olive Andradite; the deep emerald green being the most precious and rare. Russian Demantoid has golden-brown crystal thread inclusions of chrysotile, called horsetail. Within the Demantoid garnet is a twist of green fire, a “coal” fire, which generates energy at an atomically high-powered rate of oscillation.
